Email updates
If you join the Guard Dog updates list, we collect the email address you enter. Fennec Forms processes the submission for us and may also process basic response metadata such as submission time, IP address, browser information, and security signals needed to operate the form and prevent abuse.
We use your address to send Guard Dog plugin releases, important security notes, and occasional early news. Joining is optional and does not affect your ability to download or use the plugin.
We keep the address while the updates list is active or until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to limited backup retention and legal obligations. Every marketing-style update will include an unsubscribe path.
Form and abuse protection providers
The signup is hosted by Fennec Forms and protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. Their systems receive the information and technical data needed to display, secure, and process the form. See the Cloudflare privacy policy.
Website analytics
We use a self-hosted Umami installation and Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic. These tools may receive browser, device, referral, and request information; Google Analytics may also use cookies or similar identifiers. See Google's privacy policy.
Your choices
You can skip the updates list, unsubscribe from a future email, block analytics through your browser or privacy tools, or ask us to access or delete the information we control. Contact [email protected] for a privacy request.
